Carl Waldman

Carl Waldman, a graduate of Hamilton College, is a former archivist for the New York State Historical Association. A freelance writer, Waldman is the author of numerous books on Native Americans, including Facts on File’s Atlas of the North American Indian, Revised Edition; Encyclopedia of Native American Tribes, Revised Edition; Word Dance: The Language of Native American Culture, as well as the original Who Was Who in Native American History. He has also written about Native Americans for television and film.
