Lyn Riddle is the author of the true crime books Overkill, Ashes to Ashes, and Family Blood. She was born in Georgia but grew up in Hartsdale, NY. Riddle attended the University of Northern Colorado, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. She started her journalism career as the general assignment reporter at the Rock Springs Daily Rocket-Miner and has worked for such newspapers as The Atlanta Journal Constitution, The New York Times, and The Los Angeles Times.
