Philip Orbanes
Philip Orbanes has made the game business his career, spurred by his very first encounter with the MONOPOLY game at age 8. A graduate of Case Institute of Technology, he headed the research and development department at Parker Brothers for many years and is currently president of Winning Moves, Inc. He also served as Chief Judge at the National and World Monopoly Tournaments from 1979 through 1992. He and wife Anna have two grown sons, both of whom are avid gamers. Orbanes is the author of The Monopoly Companion.
