Marianne J. Legato
Marianne J. Legato is the world's foremost authority on gender and the author of six books including the international bestseller Why Men Never Remember and Why Women Never Forget, which was translated into thirty languages. She also edited the widely acclaimed textbook, Principles of Gender-Specific Medicine. Marianne recently received the Marianne J. Legato Gender-Specific Medicine Award from Ladies' Home Journal which they created and named after her in honor of Dr. Legato's tremendous achievements and contribution to the medical community. Dr. Legato currently teaches clinical medicine at Columbia University where she founded and heads the Partnership for Gender-Specific Medicine.
