Colton Lawrence
Colton Lawrence began writing at the age of 19 and became a member playwright at the Group Repertory Theatre in North Hollywood. He spent many years in Hollywood developing his craft as a screenwriter and working with top names in the film and television business. He went on to write a unique how-to book in the voice of 12-year-old Camy Baker, a book he self-published and later sold to Bantam Doubleday Dell. Four other Camy Baker books followed. He later co-created and wrote the pilot episode for The Deal with Jenny Shields, a half-hour show developed at Fox Family Channel. Lawrence is the author of Big Fat Paycheck: A Young Person's Guide to Writing for the Movies.
