True Lies
by Anthony Lappé and Stephen Marshall of the Guerilla News Network (GNN)
As mainstream news sources increasingly turn to the lowest common denominator of flag-waving shock jocks, millions of Americans are getting their information about important global issues from alternative, nontraditional sources. GNN is one of the best.
In True Lies, the writers at GNN go beneath the surface of the mainstream news to find the answers to some of today's most pressing questions: Is America using its own weapons of mass destruction to create a radioactive battlefield in the Middle East? Will new voting technology made by Republican-connected companies lead to another Florida-style election fiasco? Is the Bush administration still hiding the biggest secrets of 9/11? What is the truth behind the biggest conspiracies of the day?
