As a busy mom, wife, author and speaker, Dena Dyer adores her life. Thankfully, she has God, her mom, and a Christian counselor on speed dial. Dena is married with two handsome boys, and when she's not desperately trying to find her cell phone, she enjoys writing articles, essays and books. Her credits include Grace for the Race: Meditations for Busy Moms (Barbour); The Groovy Chick's Road Trip to Peace (Cook, co-authored with Laurie Copeland and a lot of groovy girlfriends); and magazines such as Woman's World and Writer's Digest. Her interests (obsessions?) are napping, eating, working out to work off what she eats, and helping with MOPS at her church. For more information, visit www.denadyer.com.

The Groovy Chicks' Road Trip to Love
by Dena Dyer and Laurie Copeland
"Pepper" and "Starshine" are at it again - this time on the road to love! Just what is a Groovy Chick? She aspires to be at peace with God, others and herself. She is real, honest, growing, open to new ideas and opportunities, energetic and excited about life - and she's on a meaningful journey with Jesus! Laurie and Dena (in the persons of hip chicks Pepper and Starshine) combine the best of both worlds: touching stories with laugh-so-hard-you-snort stories. The late '60's and early '70's road trip theme is woven throughout, with sidebars and extras such as Pepper's Pit Stops (raod-trip advice, recipes and humourous anecdotes), Starshine's Smile Markers (inspiring Quotes), What's Your Inner State? (thought-provoking questions and journaling prompts) and Lost? Try GPS - God's Positioning System! (scriptures).
