The Man with the Iron Tattoo and Other True Tales of Uncommon Wisdom
by Dr. John Castaldo and Dr. Lawrence Levitt
The Man with the Iron Tattoo and Other True Tales of Uncommon Wisdom is a highly personal account of 13 medical cases by two doctors who were profoundly changed by the patients they treated. In these first-person stories, we follow Drs. Castaldo and Levitt as eager young medical students, as colleagues and mentors, and, especially, as physicians who care for patients with life-threatening diseases. Throughout, the book reveals the “uncommon wisdom” these doctors learn from their patients in the realms of love, faith, forgiveness and healing.
